Liverpool are closing in the move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike after agreeing personal terms with the 23-year-old.
The Frenchman is set to become the latest new addition to their busy summer following the arrivals of six new players including Bayer Leverkusen pair of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
Ekitike, who was attracting interest from Newcastle United favours a move to Anfield and will put pen to paper on a six-year deal.
The signing of the former Paris Saint-Germain forward will take the champions’ spending to north of £250million since they won the Premier League.

Frankfurt value their player at value him around €100m (£86.7m) and have already rejected Newcastle’s bid of €80m (£69.4m).
