Liverpool have officially started their transfer business for the summer and there could be more to come.

The Reds have signed Jeremie Frimpong after agreeing to pay the £29.5million release clause in his contract at Bayer Leverkusen.

The summer transfer window is set to open on Sunday and Liverpool are already getting some of their business underway.

As well as the signing of Frimpong, the Reds have also agreed a £10million deal with Real Madrid that will see Trent Alexander-Arnold move to Real Madrid before his contract expires at the end of next month.

The next few months are likely to be rather busy on the transfer front for Liverpool, with speculation continuing to emerge on the rumour mill.
