It looks as though Arne Slot will be Liverpool’s next manager.
Everything is said to be agreed for the Dutchman to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, and now, all that’s left to do is the official announcement.
So, when will the announcement come?
Well, these things are often meticulously planned, but with Liverpool now out of the title race, there’s nothing holding the Reds back in terms of distracting their squad or creating a media circus.
Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Slot’s impending move to Liverpool, and he’s under the impression that this move could be announced as soon as this week.

Romano shared what he knows about this official announcement.
“This week could be the moment.
Let’s see if it’s going to be, it’s already Wednesday, but the internal discussions between Feyenoord and Liverpool is ongoing.
Everything is signed between Feyenoord and Liverpool in terms of documents, it includes backroom staff with Arne Slot, a few people going from Feyenoord to Liverpool as a part of the staff they will present in the next few days,” Romano said.
“Today we can confirm the announcement is coming and I am hearing that both Liverpool and Feyenoord want to announce that this week.”

In our view, the sooner Liverpool announce this the better.
If Slot is in place as quickly as possible, he’ll have more time to assess and plan what he wants to do with this Liverpool side going forward.
On top of that, the announcement of a new manager should also light a fire in the bellies of many of these players heading into the final games of this season as there will be a new manager to impress and places will be at stake.
Keep an eye out of the official announcement on this one very soon.
