Benjamin Sesko has been branded as weak after his worrying performance for Man United in the defeat to Grimsby in the Carabao Cup.
Man United crashed out courtesy of an inspired display from League Two outfit Grimsby Town who went through on penalties.
Starting with a partially rotated side, Ruben Amorim is tipped for the sack at Man United as he had to call on his big shots to turn around a 2-0 deficit at half-time.
The match eventually went to penalties where new Man United signing from RB Leipzig Sesko bizarrely took the 10th spot-kick of the shootout, which has seen his decision come under intense scrutiny.

Discussing the horrendous showing from the Red Devils on talkSPORT (28 August), former Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor blasted the Slovenian starlet’s resolve during the penalty shootout.
The 22-year-old endured a disastrous game up top for United, including an apparent lack of confidence by taking the 10th penalty after all the over outfield players had done so.
The ex-Villains laid into the number 30, saying: “I mean, your star striker was probably waiting for the Manchester United groundsman to turn up to Grimsby and take the penalty.

“He was 10th in line before the keeper [Andre Onana].
How can your star striker let all the defenders take a penalty before you, then he takes one and scores it?
A lot of them players are cowards.
I don’t use that
word softly because there’s nothing worse as a man of being called a coward, but a lot of them Manchester United players are cowards.
And Sesko, listen, he might go on to be a fantastic player for Manchester United, but last night to take the 10th penalty says a lot about your character to me.”
Football Insider verdict
Off the back of a 21-goal campaign in Germany, the six-foot-five forward has high expectations to reach in Manchester and so far has done little to impress.
Indeed, the 22-year-old made his full debut last night, but his intermittent cameos in the Premier League have shown nothing special.
The striker at Old Trafford has always come under great scrutiny and the Slovenia international must drastically turn around his slow start to gather momentum for the remainder of the campaign.

I don’t think Red Devil fans will write him off at this stage, but if he continues to have a goal drought, the United faithful can quickly turn on the prodigy that was meant to revive the number nine spot.
Both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have shown glimpses of brilliance and creativity, suggesting that Amorim’s new-look front three should deliver at some point.
However, time is of the essence for the attacking trio to kick into gear as the more games the team goes without a win, the more restless the Man United fans will become.
