Gianluigi Donnarumma could join Inter Milan despite interest from Manchester City this summer.
Donnarumma was left out of PSG’s squad for the Uefa Super Cup final victory over Tottenham and their opening Ligue 1 fixture against Nantes over the past week.
Football Insider revealed on 12 August Man City were entering the race to sign Donnarumma after he’s also been linked with rivals Manchester United.
James Trafford started in goal for Man City in the victory over Wolves on Saturday (16 August) after rejoining the club for £27million from Burnley last month, with the deal potentially rising to £31million in add-ons.

Donnarumma has also been linked with Chelsea and Inter Milan this summer, with his time in Paris appearing to be over.
“I still believe he’s got an option at Inter Milan and that’s where I still think it may well end up because Ederson may not be going.
“I think it’s all going to be down to the Ederson deal and seeing what City can produce there in terms of a bit of late transfer window material.”

In terms of other transfer activity at the Etihad Stadium, recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider Man City are concerned Rodri could have his head turned by Real Madrid after being publicly open about their interest.
However, Guardiola’s side are working behind the scenes to offer the 29-year-old a new contract in an attempt to persuade him to commit his long-term future to the club.
