"It was just a sea of red.
It just echoed around the stadium at 3-nil down.
"Then when Steven Gerrard scored that first goal, I just remember the sequence of pictures where he just rallied the fans and the team were waving non stop and that sort of just lifted everything instantly.

"This was huge because Liverpool have not been to a European final for many, many years.
He said: "I made the decision that whoever the nearest Scouser was at the final whistle, I'd run after them.
"I was behind the goal when Jerzy Dudek saved the penalty and then I looked to my right and I saw Jamie Carragher who just literally jumped over the advertising boards and ran along the running track into the crowd.

Colin's incredible photos saw him win the Picture Editors UK Regional Photographer of the Year award, but he said what he loves the most is how fans from across the globe have shown their love for the photos.
They're always rolled out on the anniversary and people had copies in their homes, it just went everywhere.
"The memories are strong and it's fondly talked about from anyone who was there and I love all the stories you hear around it." The celebration parade took place the following day on May 26, 2005.
