Liverpool’s summer signings are getting acclimatised after heading on tour with their new teammates.
It has been an immensely difficult time for the Reds’ players following the tragic death of Diogo Jota at the beginning of July.
With several new players having to settle into the club amid a period of devastation, there had been some concerns over how they would manage.
Fortunately, Liverpool have some real leaders within the group, and players such as Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez appear to have been able to make the adjustment.
Although he was signed last year, Giorgi Mamardashvili is also taking his first steps among the Liverpool squad.
And as Mamardashvili finally begins to show supporters what he’s all about, former Reds goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has picked out two of the Georgian’s top attributes.

Dudek may not have been able to hold a candle to current Liverpool number one Alisson Becker, but he will forever be etched into the history of the club.
Dudek’s heroics during the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul mean his voice is always worth listening to on matters regarding Liverpool goalkeepers.

The Pole is also an LFC ambassador, and has travelled out to Hong Kong during the Reds’ current tour.
It was there that Chinese outlet CGTN Sports Scene sat down with Dudek to ask for his thoughts on Mamardashvili.

“I think he has all the quality to represent Liverpool,” said the 52-year-old.
“Of course Alisson is number one, but he knows what he has to do.
His quality, I think he is very good in shot-stopping, very good with his feet and I think he will fit very well into Liverpool’s style.”
As well as touching on Mamardashvili’s arrival, Dudek was also asked to give his opinion on the signing of Hugo Ekitike, which was confirmed on Wednesday.
“That’s great news,” he said.
“I think we needed another striker, he can give many options.
He works for the team, he can pass the ball to another player if he’s in a better position to score the goal.
“I think he’s a really good signing for Liverpool and let’s hope he can enjoy the end of the season with winning trophies.”
With reports claiming Liverpool believe Ekitike can reach the level of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, his addition is just one more reason for supporters to be excited this summer.
