Paul Merson has predicted where he believes Mohamed Salah will be playing his football next season amid doubts over his Liverpool future.
Mohamed Salah has had a turbulent season, scoring 18 goals and providing 10 assists for a Liverpool side which spent much of the campaign in the Premier League title race.
Unfortunately, the £44 million Egyptian’s form deserted him at the worst time for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s side fell away from Arsenal and Manchester City in recent weeks.
But speaking to Sportskeeda, Merson suggested that he cannot see him being part of the Arne Slot era at Liverpool.
“I think Mohamed Salah goes to Saudi this summer and Arne Slot will have a huge task on his hands to replace the Egyptian’s goals, if he ends up leaving,” he said.

“A lot of coaches and backroom staff from the Jurgen Klopp era will also be on their way out, so the Dutchman has his work cut out for him.”

On the other hand, he may look at someone like Salah and think it may be the best time to move him on.
