Ibrahima Konate has made a cheeky prediction about next season as the Liverpool squad received their EAFC 26 player cards at the AXA Training Centre ahead of the popular game’s official release.
The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season and is attracting interest from Real Madrid, with it currently unclear whether he will sign a new contract at Anfield or look to move on.
Despite such uncertainty around his future, he remains first-choice alongside Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Reds defence and has impressed in recent victories over Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Everton.

Konate is rated 86 overall on this year’s edition of EAFC, having initially been rated at 83 when EAFC 25 was released last September.
And the centre-back is predicting another upgrade next year!
Rated at 78 at the start of last season, his card is now rated 85.
The Dutchman was suitably impressed, teasing Hugo Ekitike in the process, while Cody Gakpo was thrilled for his compatriot.
“Last year was… 78?”
“You deserve 80!” Ekitike joked.

Jones was blown away by Florian Wirtz’s overall 89 rated card and 90 dribbling, as the German and Dominik Szoboszlai squabbled over their physicality and speed.
“Oh my days!
Right?”
Meanwhile, Trey Nyoni took great fun in teasing Ngumoha, insisting his pace was overpowered.
“You got 90 pace?” he queried.
“Tell you what, it’s a good picture of you!”
“It’s a good picture, it is!” Woodman agreed.
