“If I was Liverpool...": Rio Ferdinand tells Liverpool to sign 'unbelievable' £63m striker in the summer

The Norwegian has been linked with Liverpool ever since he blew up at RB Salzburg and with his release clause active, Rio Ferdinand has told Jurgen Klopp to go out and buy him.

Speaking on BT Sport’s post-match coverage, Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand urged Liverpool to go out and sign Haaland, whose €75m (£63m) release clause can be activated this summer.

Diogo Jota is shining for Liverpool and Roberto Firmino was in good form before he got injured but neither player lays a glove on Borussia Dortmund attacker Haaland.

Liverpool are interested in the striker and they reportedly held talks with Mino Raiola over a move to Anfield, claim 90Min and they’re now once again being told to sign him.

Haaland should use his Champions League-free evenings to watch the Reds and hopefully get a closer look at players that he could play with next season if FSG sanctions a move for him.

I’m not sure Salah would get as many goals if Haaland was in the team.

The Norwegian has missed 10 games through injury this season and yet he has 13 goals and 4 assists in 10 appearances, highlighting his unreal ability to score goals in every game he plays.
