And, since the future of Alexander Isak seems to be with Liverpool, it’s not a surprise to see the Anfield outfit looking to bring some extra money in.

That is, especially since the deal for Isak is reported to be worth around £125million.

Since there are now fewer than 12 hours left of the transfer window, some last-minute moves are likely to be sanctioned across the board.

Talks for Joe Gomez, Marc Guehi, and Isak are all still underway, and, until the window slams shut, there’s no knowing what the Reds’ first-team squad could end up looking like.

However, as well as incomings on Monday, there could also be some more outgoings with Daily Mail journalist Lewis Steele sharing an update on the future of Harvey Elliott via his personal X account.

“No official bids for Harvey Elliott yet but still a possibility he leaves today if the money is right, now Alexander Isak is joining,” he wrote.

“RB Leipzig have made several approaches but money is short of Liverpool’s £50m asking price so far.

But expect them to return.

“One to watch.”

Since Florian Wirtz and Szoboszlai are both likely to start over Harvey Elliott in his preferred number 10 role this season, it’s hard to see where the 22-year-old could break into Slot’s starting XI.
