Liverpool have been linked with two of the world’s finest young Spaniards in recent months.
Barcelona duo Gavi and Pedri were both reportedly targets for the Premier League outfit during the summer transfer window.
Speculation about Gavi extended a little longer than his club and country colleague.

Prising either of them from Barca will be an impossible task for any club going forward.
And former Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique has admitted that if he had to choose between one of both starlets for Jurgen Klopp’s outfit, he’d elect for Gavi.
Both Gavi and Pedri starred on Wednesday as La Roja kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 7-0 demolition of Costa Rica in Qatar.
There’s no doubt Liverpool need that position freshened up in a massive way and although it’ll probably be done next summer, they can get to work on it in January.
