Mohamed Salah has enjoyed one of his best years yet at Liverpool having led the Reds to the Premier League title in comfortable fashion.
The Egyptian international set the record for the joint-most goal contributions in a Premier League season with 47 as Salah firmly established himself as arguably the best player in the world and a favourite for this year’s Ballon d’Or award.
With Salah signing a new contract with Liverpool, Reds supporters can expect more world-class performances and record-breaking numbers from the 32-year-old winger for at least three more seasons, with the forward showing no signs of slowing down just yet.
And Salah has now shared when he thinks he could retire from football, with this conversation something that Liverpool fans will have to address in the coming years.

Speaking to ON Sports, the Liverpool superstar shared how he thinks he could play until the age of 40, with Salah stating that he will only retire from football once he has the feeling that he can no longer give it his all in the sport.
With Ray Houghton comparing Salah’s physicality to Cristiano Ronaldo’s, there’s a real case to be made that the former AS Roma winger could indeed play into his forties if he can steer clear of any major injuries or fitness problems.
And Salah himself seems to think that he could do just that as well, with the Liverpool star playing the best football yet of his career and at times looking like an unstoppable attacking machine in Arne Slot’s system.

Salah said when asked when he could retire: “I will stop playing when I have that feeling.
If you ask me for my opinion, I think I can play until the age of 39 or 40 but if I felt before that I wanted to stop, I would quit.
I have achieved a lot of things.”
As well as touching on when he thinks he could retire, Salah also shed some light on potentially moving to Saudi Arabia, a transfer that has been circulating in the rumour mill for some time and could linger around even more in the years to come.
Salah said when asked about a potential move to Saudi Arabia in the future: “My contract was up at Liverpool and I would have gone to Saudi but we finalised the deal with Liverpool.
I don’t know what is going to happen but I am happy here in Liverpool and I am staying here for the next two years.
