Leeds United have been busy in the transfer market as Daniel Farke strives to keep the Elland Road side in the Premier League.

After winning the Championship title last season, Leeds have signed James Justin as well as nine other players, including former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

However, the Whites suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday, 23 August, epitomising the gap between the second tier and the Premier League.

While Farke has acquired several players this summer, Leeds have also facilitated the loan exits of Isaac Schmidt and Largie Ramazani.

Winger Ramazani helped the West Yorkshire side to promotion last term by scoring six goals and producing two assists in 29 second-tier appearances.

Meanwhile, Valencia announced the 24-year-old’s signature via Instagram on Thursday, 28 August, with the caption: “Benvingut Ramazani.”

Farke’s successful moves for players like former Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff and Germany international Anton Stach outline Leeds’ ambition.

Meanwhile, the decision to offload Schmidt on loan to Werder Bremen paves the way for fellow right-back and summer signing Justin to enjoy game time in the Premier League.

Similarly, allowing Ramazani to join Valencia has shown that Farke is set to hand plenty of playing opportunities to recent acquisition Noah Okafor.

The winger helped Napoli win the Serie A title last season, and Leeds believe he is well-equipped to help them survive in the Premier League this season.

Meanwhile, football commentator Ian Darke has backed the Elland Road club to sign West Brom star Tom Fellows in an MOT Leeds News exclusive.
