Klopp and Salah were involved in a heated argument on the touchline just before the winger was brought on against West Ham United on Saturday.
Ally McCoist went as far as saying he will leave the club this summer, while Ahmed Elmohamady claimed his compatriot was disrespected.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has had his say on Salah’s future.
The journalist revealed that Liverpool absolutely want to keep hold of Salah this summer.
Romano even claimed that Michael Edwards is a big fan of the former Roma man.
He said on the Daily Briefing: “We’re continuing to see a lot of stories into the situation at Liverpool, and I wanted to start by providing an update of my current understanding of the Mohamed Salah situation, following reports yesterday that the feeling now is that he will not be leaving Liverpool this summer.
“I’m told there will be talks closer to the end of the season between Salah and Liverpool to discuss that.
“Liverpool want to keep Salah and continue with him also under Arne Slot, that’s why we have strong rumours; it’s clear that they want to continue, Michael Edwards is a big fan of the player.”

Mohamed Salah was a wanted man last summer.
Al-Ittihad tried really hard to sign the Egypt international for big money, but Liverpool stood firm and refused to let their star man go.
TalkSPORT revealed about three weeks ago that Liverpool are bracing for a fresh approach from Saudi, with Al-Hilal set to rival Al-Ittihad for the Egyptian’s signature.
It was claimed that Salah is ‘likely to be the subject of an offer worth in excess of £70million this summer’, and he could earn wages similar to Neymar – around £138 million a year.
It will be interesting to see what will happen with Salah in the coming weeks, but as things stand, Liverpool want to keep hold of him.
