Manor Solomon is “certain” to leave Tottenham before the end of the summer transfer window, according to their former senior scout.
Mick Brown, who also worked as the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that the 26-year-old is not part of Thomas Frank’s plans for the upcoming season.
Frank recently failed to name the winger when quizzed on his wide options, adding to the speculation surrounding his future in North London.
As a result, former Spurs and Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Leeds could push to sign Solomon with the door left open for his departure.
Daniel Farke’s side have been long-term admirers of the winger following his loan spell last season and could finally make a permanent move.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed in May that Solomon is likely to leave Tottenham in the wake of his Elland Road loan spell, with a number of clubs interested.

Brown told Football Insider in June that Frank would hold internal talks about Solomon’s future and decide his fate during their pre-season tour.
The former scout, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that a decision is now going to have to be made about his future.
“The end of the window is going to be busy,” he told Football Insider.
“At the moment there are a lot of ifs, buts and whens, but with time running out, decisions are going to have to be made about a lot of players.
“Solomon is one of those players who I expect they’re going to let go.
“He certainly won’t be a Tottenham player, and if he’s not a Tottenham player then a decision has to be made about where he’s going to go.

“In terms of Leeds’ interest, he’s obviously a player they know well.
“He was excellent for them on loan last season so it hasn’t come as a surprise to anybody that they’re still looking to bring him back.
“Personally, I think there are better options out there who could improve their squad more.
“Leeds are in a tricky position though because they do need to strengthen.
“He’s somebody the manager knows and he knows how he fits in the squad, so there won’t be the same issues as they might find with somebody else.
“If they’re going to move for Solomon, I think they’ll be preparing to make an offer soon.”
As speculation continues to surround potential outgoings at Spurs, they are also working on a deal to bring Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze to the club.
Brown told Football Insider on 18 August that Tottenham are closing in on signing Eze after a fresh round of talks between the two London clubs.

Palace had originally been holding out for the 27-year-old’s £68million release clause to be paid, but they are prepared to accept less following its expiry.
Football Insider revealed on 15 August that Tottenham are leading the race to sign Eze despite ongoing interest from North London rivals Arsenal.
