Chelsea players were quick to respond on social media after another teammate confirmed his exit this summer.
It has been another busy window for the Blues, with Enzo Maresca once again heavily backed in his second summer in charge.
A number of new arrivals have already joined the squad, with Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Jorrel Hato signing for Chelsea, while several departures have also been confirmed.
The likes of Joao Felix, Noni Madueke and Renato Veiga have all moved on, while Bayern Munich are in advanced talks to take Nicolas Jackson on loan before the deadline.
While Jackson’s own future remains uncertain, he was among a group of Chelsea players who reacted as news broke of yet another departure from the club.

Among the many exits from Chelsea this summer, academy graduate Alfie Gilchrist has now completed a permanent move to West Bromwich Albion.
The 21-year-old confirmed his departure in an emotional Instagram post, writing that Chelsea had “helped shape me not only as a player but as a person” before going on to thank the club’s staff, supporters and teammates.

A number of those teammates were quick to respond, with Jackson, Trevoh Chalobah and Josh Acheampong all liking his message.
Derby County and Watford had also shown interest in Gilchrist, but the defender has chosen Ryan Mason’s side as the next step in his career.
He spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, where he featured regularly under Chris Wilder, starting 27 of his 32 matches for the Blades.
After joining Chelsea’s academy as an Under-11, he now embarks on a new chapter in the Championship on a permanent basis.

While much of Chelsea’s focus has been on outgoings in recent weeks, the club are also close to securing another addition — one that has raised a few eyebrows.
Chelsea are finalising a move to sign Brighton winger Facundo Buonanotte on a straight loan deal, without any option or obligation to buy.
Leeds United had also been pushing to bring in the Argentine, but Chelsea’s late move appears to have scuppered their chances.
Questions remain over the reasoning behind the deal with the side’s bloated frontline, but it appears a deal is close to completion for the 20-year-old.
