As Liverpool look to convince new signings to join them this summer, they have a secret weapon or two up their sleeve.
Having just won the Premier League, the Reds should be an enticing prospect for any player on the planet at the moment.
But as well as offering an elite team with brilliant players already within the squad, Liverpool can present their unique support as a major draw for new signings.
The scenes at Anfield when Liverpool won the Premier League last month were proof of just how special the Reds’ fanbase is.
Those ties will now last for a lifetime.
If any player needs further evidence of just how special it is to be part of the Liverpool squad, they need only look at Ryan Babel and his latest emotional message to the Reds fanbase.

Babel was never a part of a Liverpool team who won anything at all during his three-and-a-half years at Anfield.
But despite that, and although he struggled at times during his spell on Merseyside, Babel clearly has fond memories of his time with the Reds.

Taking to X on Wednesday night, the Dutchman explained that he had recently been sent some photos of his career at Liverpool which had made him appreciate it all over again.
“This week I received some amazing photos from my time at Liverpool and as I looked through them, it really hit me what a journey it’s been,” Babel said.

“So many great memories, and the love and support still going strong to this day.
“Shout out to all my fans and supporters.
I see you, I appreciate you, and I love you guys!” he added, while sharing a handful of photographs underneath the post.
Babel had a strange career at Liverpool.
Unfortunately, he had difficulty adapting and always felt to be fighting a losing battle from there.
Still only 24 when he left in 2011, though, Babel has admitted that leaving Liverpool was a huge regret for him when he looks back at his career.
With Kenny Dalglish a relatively new manager at Liverpool at the time, it would have probably served Babel better to stay and give it one more shot.
His post-Reds career certainly wasn’t one to write home about, but perhaps if he’d have stayed at Anfield, the former Netherlands international could have finally fulfilled his potential.
Either way, the love he still feels for Liverpool fans is testament to the indelible mark this football club leaves on all who encounter it.
