Should Heitinga leave his post and Pusic either turns down Slot’s offer again or isn’t even offered the chance by Slot, the Reds will have to have other targets on their mind.
Indeed, these are all just ifs, buts and maybes at the moment, but should Heitinga leave his post, it’s unlikely that Liverpool will be short of options to replace him.
