Liverpool have managed to get their Premier League campaign off to a perfect start this season.

And, now that the international break is upon us, it’s the perfect time for Arne Slot to reflect on the start to his team’s season and what he can do to make things even better.

Indeed, Gomez did make a 10-minute cameo against Arsenal, but there’s no hiding from the fact that Slot would’ve preferred him to start the game at full-back.

And, last but not least, in Bajcetic’s case, even though Slot won’t look towards the Spaniard to be a regular starter, it would be nice to have a player with some top-flight experience on the bench to help out if needed.

Otherwise, he won’t be given any game time once again, and he won’t be able to fight for his place in Slot’s starting XI.

From the way he’s played for Liverpool thus far, it feels like there should be no problem, but while Slot has some time on his hands, it could be beneficial to see if there was another way to fit him into the team.
