Liverpool have had a near-perfect summer transfer window.
The Reds have been among the busiest teams in the world this summer, and, with the quality of players they’ve brought in, it’s not hard to see why they’ve spent over £400million.
Despite this, while live on talkSPORT, Darren Bent still believes Liverpool had an “A-star” transfer window.

“They’ve had an A star window, Liverpool, it’s got to be one of the best ever,” Bent said.
“It’s a lot of dough [Liverpool’s spending], in one window.”
Goldstein then replied with: “It’s an insane amount of money.”
Bent then added: “They do their finances well, they don’t buy for a couple [of] years, then boom, crazy, but to break the British transfer record twice, it’s nuts.”
Throughout the course of the summer, it’s been clear that Liverpool needed another senior centre-back among their ranks.

If Liverpool manage to get him to sign an extension this summer, it could be a whole different story, but if Guehi was actually brought in, he’d provide extra competition for the Frenchman and perhaps force him into playing better to fight for his starting spot.
