Adam Idah has issued an inspired message as Celtic look to defend their Scottish league title in a bid to extend their league dominance.

The Hoops wiped the competition away last season as they cruised to a 55th league title, winning with a 15-point margin over rivals Rangers.

Brendan Rodgers’ side lost just four of their 33 matches on the way to being crowned champions, winning on 26 occasions.

Their league victory sees them go level with their Glasgow neighbours for most titles won, providing even greater motivation for bragging rights for the victor next campaign.

Idah was instrumental in the club’s dominance, picking up 13 goals across the season in the Scottish top-division.

In a post on Instagram (31 July), the Irishman shared photos that captured his pre-season preparation both in training and on the pitch.

Former teammate Jeffrey Schlupp commented: “Let’s go” as the Ghanian has now joined Idah’s old employer Norwich City.
