Jeremie Frimpong's former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Nathan Tella has backed the Dutch wing-back to succeed at Liverpool after he made the $39 million (£30 million) move to Anfield this summer.

Having won the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen in 2024, Frimpong decided that this was the right time to take the next step.
