Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish has hit back at Liverpool legend Graeme Souness following the pundit's latest comments.

• None Darwin Nunez cost Liverpool 'less' than some may think as £147m point missed • Liverpool record holder labelled 'next Michael Owen' now finds himself in football wilderness at just 25 • None Liverpool can unleash 'best playmaker in the world' again with subtle adjustment • None Jurgen Klopp faces tough decision as Liverpool hierarchy could change for first time in three years

It isn't the first time Souness has taken aim at City 's record signing and Grealish was asked about the comments in a press conference this week.

The former Red criticised the 27-year-old earlier this week on talkSPORT, claiming he 'hasn't improved' since he made the £100m switch from Aston Villa to Manchester last year.

“I don’t know what [Souness's] problem is with me,” he said ahead of England’s Nations league clash with Italy tomorrow night.

He was obviously a great player and won a lot but I don’t know what it is with what he says about me or what problem he’s got.

When I signed for Man City and the price that came with it, I knew it wasn’t going to all be laughs unless I started the way Erling Haaland did.
