Jack Grealish shared a message directed at Erling Haaland after the striker’s latest development at Man City.

Man City have undergone a tough start to the Premier League season, as they have suffered back-to-back losses to Spurs and Brighton.

Despite the setbacks, Haaland still delivered a top performance for Pep Guardiola’s side as he scored the only goal for the side in their latest 2-1 loss to Brighton.

Meanwhile, Grealish looks revitalised since his loan switch to Everton.

The winger has been in superb form, registering four assists in his last two appearances, including a standout display in the Toffees’ 3-2 win over Wolves.

Haaland even praised Grealish following his latest display, and now, the Englishman shared a heartfelt message of his own.

While it was a poor result for City, the spotlight once again fell on Haaland and his extraordinary goalscoring record since arriving in the Premier League.

His strike against Brighton means he has now scored 88 goals after 100 games, which is the most of any player in history.

Grealish responded to this achievement by reposting the official Premier League’s post on Instagram about the record, which asked fans: “Is Haaland your favourite Premier League striker?” He answered with a simple message to say: “No question.”

It has been a turbulent last few months for City as they come off their first trophyless campaign in years, but the Norway striker still hit 31 goals across competitions as Haaland shone at the Club World Cup during the summer.

Despite the change occurring at the Etihad with exits including Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker, the striker has been given the reins to lead this new era after Haaland signed a nine-year contract back in January.

While City undergo problems of their own, Grealish seems to look reborn in Merseyside, and his form has already sparked discussions over a permanent switch.

Football Insider revealed Everton are already considering making Grealish’s loan spell permanent come the end of the season, following his influential performances since his debut.

It has also been reported that Grealish will consider a wage drop to leave Man City permanently.
