Manchester United star Jadon Sancho must accept a transfer deadline day move to Aston Villa to get his career back on track.
After becoming surplus to requirements at Man United, Sancho turned down a move to Roma, who have enjoyed a strong start to the Serie A season.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim’s side have endured a turbulent start to the new campaign, and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town.
Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Man United are working overtime to offload Sancho, Rasmus Hojlund, and Tyrell Malacia.

Amid the Old Trafford club’s efforts to rebuild, Sancho is part of Man United’s so-called bomb squad of players who are not in Amorim’s plans.
Meanwhile as reported by David Ornstein at The Athletic, Aston Villa are now on the verge of signing the winger on a season-long loan deal.
Similarly to fellow England international Marcus Rashford, Sancho was previously a successful player before losing his way at Man United.

Sancho previously established himself as one of the best wingers in Europe throughout his first stint with his former club Borussia Dortmund.

In his final season with the German giants, before moving to Old Trafford in 2021, Sancho notched an impressive return of 16 goals and 18 assists across all competitions.
However, the winger has scored just 12 goals in over 80 appearances for Man United, proving that his move to the North West has not been a success.
The 25-year-old returned to Dortmund on loan in the 2023/24 season, scoring three goals and producing two assists in 21 appearances.
He then went on to notch five goals and eight assists while on loan with Chelsea last term, but it wasn’t enough to convince the Blues to sign him permanently.
Meanwhile, Emery’s work with Rashford proves that a move to Aston Villa could be enough to help Sancho return to England contention ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
