Tottenham midfielder James Maddison shared a heartfelt message to supporters as the squad continues its preparations for the new season.

Spurs have had a busy summer both on and off the pitch, with Thomas Frank stepping in as head coach following Ange Postecoglou’s sacking.

Tottenham have already secured the signings of Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel on permanent deals, and further reinforcements are expected before the window closes.

Players are currently in the middle of pre-season duties, as Spurs recently beat Arsenal 1-0 in the first-ever North London derby played overseas.

Following a string of encouraging results, Maddison took a moment to reflect as the team travelled to their next destination, sharing a message with supporters.

Tottenham have continued their pre-season tour and have now arrived in Seoul, South Korea, ahead of their clash with Newcastle United on 3 August.

Maddison shared a photo on his Instagram story to confirm the squad’s arrival, posting a message of appreciation to the fans: “Touch down in Seoul.

Following the full-time whistle, Richarlison and Gabriel Magalhaes exchanged digs on social media, a reminder of their North London rivalry, even in pre-season.

As for Maddison, he’ll be eager to make an impression on new manager Frank, especially after an uncertain role under Postecoglou last season.

Reports suggested Maddison had a falling out with Postecoglou, leading to time on the sidelines.

Still, he enjoyed a strong season in terms of end product, registering 12 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.

With pre-season in full swing, Frank is eager to strengthen his squad further, and that includes finding added competition in Maddison’s area of the pitch.

Tottenham had been targeting Morgan Gibbs-White, but the Nottingham Forest star opted to sign a new deal after the club triggered a release clause.

Now, Football Insider revealed that Spurs have turned their attention to Manchester City’s Jack Grealish.

The England international is expected to leave this summer, and his capability of playing both centrally and out wide is seen as a major asset for the North London side.
