Carragher couldn't contain himself in the Sky Sports studio(Image: Sky Sports)Jamie Carragher was sent wild by Rio Ngumoha’s late Liverpool winner as he hailed “one of the greatest games in Premier League history”.
The goal understandably sent Liverpool fans both at St James’ Park and up and down the country crazy - and Carragher was no exception.
Behind the scenes cameras filmed the Liverpool icon sprinting around the Sky Sports studio, while he could also be heard saying: “Oh my god!
This is one of the greatest games in Premier League history!”
Once Carragher had calmed down, his post-match assessment was slightly more critical of his former side.
He suggested that the Reds simply did not deserve their win in the North East.

"I think what we've seen tonight is possibly one of the worst performances from a winning team and one of the best performances from a losing team," he said on Sky Sports.
I think Newcastle would've won the game - they were far better than Liverpool in every aspect."
Meanwhile, Carragher was also critical of a couple of Liverpool stars for their performances both at Newcastle and so far this season.
