Jadon Sancho has been accused of having little ability in a scathing attack on the England winger from Jamie Carragher.

Manchester United star Sancho has joined Aston VIlla on loan after spending last season at Chelsea, also on loan.

The 25-year-old has not played for United since a seven-minute cameo in last season's Community Shield penalty shoot-out defeat to Manchester City.



In response, Carragher accused Sancho of lacking any real ability as a player and claimed he has no stand-out qualities that make him a threat on the pitch.

“It’s funny with Sancho because he got the reputation with Borussia Dortmund,” Carragher said.

Sancho was linked with moves to Besiktas, Roma and Juventus, among others, before joining Villa on transfer deadline day.
