Jamie Carragher has told Liverpool fans to leave Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp to 'sort it out' and 'enjoy their last few weeks together'.

The Liverpool icons epitomised what has been a rough period for the Reds, with the pair arguing on the touchline as Salah prepared to come on in the Reds' 2-2 draw at West Ham on Saturday.

Salah added sparked further worry amongst Liverpool fans with his comments in the mixed zone after the game, telling the media 'if I speak, there will be fire'.

But despite the incidents sparking debate amongst Liverpool's fan base, Carragher - who earned his legend status during his 25 years at Anfield - has told fans not to take sides.

Taking to X the morning after the game, Carragher said: "MO Salah & Jurgen Klopp are both @LFC legends.

Salah is frustrated & angry with Jurgen that he’s not playing & at that moment didn’t want to fully embrace the boss, Jurgen understandably took exception.

"They’ve been a massive help to each other in all that’s been achieved at the club!"

Liverpool's 2-0 defeat to Merseyside rivals Everton in mid-week marked a huge set back in the Premier League title race with Arsenal and Manchester City.

Carragher also said Salah had 'gone off the boil' in his post-match analysis of the clash at Goodison Park.
