Jamie Carragher believes Arsenal are the best defensive side in the world as they continue to push for the Premier League title.

Arsenal have the best defensive record in England's top flight - conceding fewer goals than any team and claiming more clean sheets.

He said on Sky Sports: "I think Arsenal right now defensively are as good as anyone in Europe and probably the world right now and making it tough for teams.

I am not going to say he is unbelievable goalscorer because he’s not, but he’s a centre-forward and he is helping Arsenal do what they are doing right now which is being so strong defensively and that is what gives them a great chance of them winning the Premier League."
