Jamie Carragher believes that Milos Kerkez is "too aggressive" on the field at the start of his Liverpool career, offering some advice for after the international break.
Kerkez was not at his best in Liverpool's wins over Bournemouth and Newcastle, arguably being at fault for Bruno Guimaraes' goal to bring Eddie Howe's team back into the game before Rio Ngumoha's late winner.
But the Hungarian left-back improved in the Reds' win over Arsenal, putting in a strong showing against Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli while limiting their chances.
Liverpool paid $53 million to Bournemouth to sign Kerkez, who looks to be the club's long-term successor of Andy Robertson, who has now been reverted to the back-up option this season.

And while Kerkez put in a strong showing against Arsenal, Carragher has told him how he should be playing moving forward, as the Reds hope to continue their strong start to the year.

Kerkez struggled against Bournemouth and Newcastle, but improved against Arsenal
An attacking full-back, Kerkez regularly looks to get forward, which leads to some fans questioning whether he'd be the right fit for Slot's team, alongside fellow attackers at the position in Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong.
Kerkez has two years of Premier League experience, while being named to the PL Team of the Season for the 2024/25 campaign before his move to the Reds.
And while he's getting more opportunities to push forward, often overlapping Cody Gakpo on the left, he has found himself out of position at times defensively - something many pundits have noticed.
Still just 21 years old, Kerkez will look to be the Reds' long-term number one at the left back position, with Robertson heading into the final year of his contract and Kostas Tsimikas deemed surplus to requirements.
The Greek full-back has joined Roma on a season-long loan, and he could return after the season to act as Kerkez's back-up, should Robertson leave.
However, it's likely that Tsimikas has played his last game for Arne Slot's team, potentially looking for first-team soccer, as he enters the latter years of his prime.
Kerkez is one of several new Liverpool signings that will look to play significant minutes this season, with Florian Wirtz also struggling to hit the ground running so far.
Frimpong is currently injured, while Hugo Ekitike has impressed with three goals in four games
Meanwhile, Giorgi Mamardashvili will act as Alisson Becker's back-up this season, potentially taking over as the starter next year should the Brazilian legend leave.
The Reds added two players in the final weeks of the window, bringing in Giovanni Leoni to replace Jarell Quansah, with the Italian teenager looking to be the fourth-choice center-back.
Meanwhile, they smashed the British transfer record for the second time this window to sign Alexander Isak on the final day, bringing him in for Newcastle to lead their frontline.
