Jamie Carragher is not convinced Chelsea are any closer to winning the Premier League title this season.
The Blues have not won the league since 2017 and are without a domestic trophy since Todd Boehly and BlueCo's arrival.

However, Enzo Maresca lifted both the Conference League and Club World Cup last season.
He has since been backed in the transfer market once again with eight new additions for a combined £244million.
It comes ahead of the club's return to the Champions League during the upcoming campaign.
Chelsea will feature in the competition for the first time in three seasons having finished fourth in the Premier League last term.

That final league position is their highest since Boehly's takeover in 2022.
Despite that, Carragher has criticised the quality of their transfer business, believing the squad has not got any better.
The former Liverpool defender added that does not yet see Maresca's side as title challengers this term.
Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Carragher explained: "When I look at Chelsea, I think about what you did in the Club World Cup – everyone wanted to win it.

"Real Madrid really wanted to win, PSG did, and so did Manchester City, all those that we class as the best teams.
"So I do think it’s a big thing and it will help build a connection between Enzo Maresca and the supporters, which wasn’t really there last season.

"I’m not sure it’ll push Chelsea any closer to the title though.
When Chelsea do business, over the last couple of years, it feels like a lot of players are changing without anyone really lifting the level.
"I know Cole Palmer has been amazing, but all your wingers feel the same.
"A perfect example is (Jamie) Gittens coming in and Madueke leaving – there is no elevation, and I see that with a lot of positions at Chelsea."
As mentioned, Maresca has brought eight new players to Stamford Bridge already this summer.
Both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap arrived in time to impress at the Club World Cup in the USA.
The pair, who signed for a combined £90million, scored four goals between them during the tournament.

They have since been joined by Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato and Brazilian wonderkid Estevao, who has arrived after turning 18.
Meanwhile, fellow new signings Mamadou Sarr and Kendry Paez have already been sent out on loan to BlueCo-owned outfit Strasbourg.
As Carragher highlighted, the addition of winger Gittens from Borussia Dortmund follows Noni Madueke's exit.
The England international joined London rivals Arsenal for £52million last month.
Joao Felix and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have also left the club for significant fees.
Overall, Chelsea have recouped £157m from player sales this summer alongside their transfer outlay.

Carragher's latest comments follow previous criticism of Chelsea's policy on player contracts.
The club have repeatedly handed out long-term deals to new signings during the Boehly era.
His stance was revealed earlier this year as he discussed Cole Palmer's Chelsea future.
The former Manchester City man previously signed a new deal through to 2033 in October last year.

Carragher compared Palmer to his former teammate Steven Gerrard, claiming he may become frustrated by being 'better than everybody else' amid a poor run of form for the Blues.
He also admitted the length of the deals given to Palmer and his team-mates will make it hard for them to leave the club.
