Jamie Webster has paid tribute to Liverpool FC forward Diogo Jota, who was tragically killed in a car crash in Spain.
The Liverpudlian singer-songwriter recorded his own acoustic version of the popular "Diogo Jota song" at Melwood Training Centre in West Derby last year.
On Facebook, Webster posted a black and white image of himself and Jota, along with the words "Rest in peace, Diogo.
Local reports have claimed the accident was the result of a blown-out tyre.
It comes just over a month after Jota made a special video appearance at Webster's BOSS KIDS show at the M&S Bank Arena on May 25, celebrating the final weekend of the 24/25 Premier League season.
Introducing Jota to the audience of young Liverpool FC fans, Webster said: "One of the players who plays for Liverpool has got a special message for us.
I heard my song was the most voted for the best song of all of the players.
So perhaps Jamie can sing it for you guys and you can sing extra loud.
We are champions."

The crowd then launched into a rousing version of the Diogo Jota chant, which has been a rallying cry for supporters at Liverpool FC matches for a number of years.
The Diogo Jota song
Oh, he wears the number 20,
He will take us to victory,
And when he’s running down the left wing,
He’ll cut inside and score for LFC,
He’s a lad from Portugal,
Better than Figo don’t you know,
Oh, his name is Diogo
An official Liverpool FC statement, released shortly before 10.30am this morning, read: "Liverpool Football Club are devastated by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota.
