Liverpool looked almost unstoppable last season as they lifted a deserved Premier League title.
In Arne Slot’s first season as the Reds boss, he exceeded expectations, leading them to a league title victory and a Carabao Cup final when most outside of the club expected the transition from Jurgen Klopp to be too much for him to handle.
Instead, he took it in his stride, using his incredibly calm demeanour to guide his side through.
Looking ahead to this next season and the future is already bright for Slot’s squad as they have had a 100% record in their first three games with a trip to Burnley on the way this Sunday.

This form is down to the smart decisions in the transfer window, which have seen seven high-profile incomings, including Hugo Ekitike, fit into the team with ease.
Last season saw them win the title mathematically with two games to spare against Tottenham Hotspur in April, ending on a total of 85 points.
It is a lower tally than usual, especially for a side who have come off on the wrong end of nip and tuck title races with Manchester City, with both teams having, at one stage, hit over 90 points in a single season.
They are title favourites once again for everything the Dutch coach has done since his arrival, and most pundits are unsure of who exactly will challenge this mighty side.

The former Liverpool midfielder Jan Molby is one of those who sees another title in the future of the 46-year-old head coach, with little competition to match them.
In an interview with Anfield Index, Molby predicted what kind of points tally is needed to pick up another championship title.
He said: “I’m not convinced we need to be the best Premier League team ever to win the league.
And we know what it was like when we went toe-to-toe with Manchester City.
“Every season we’re going in thinking, can we get 95 plus points?
So that’s where I’m at with it all.”
Analysing the lay of the land for the potential title rivals, Jan believed Chelsea had the potential but posed too many ‘unknowns’, and he dismissed Arsenal’s chances for one reason.
“By every day, I’m more convinced that with Arteta as the manager, they won’t win the Premier League,” he said.
The nine-point tally is the best start any club could ask for and especially with a victory over the second-placed team last season, so soon in the campaign.
However, they will have to navigate what will be a tricky month, not just in terms of opposition but also the number of competitions that are starting up again.
Wednesday marks the start of the Champions League as Anfield prepares to host Atletico Madrid in the opening game of the league phase of the tournament.
The following Tuesday will begin the League Cup campaign against the newly relegated side, Southampton.
This is where summer signings and the youth department come into play for rotating the squad, but striking the right balance is not easy, especially when the motivation is to maintain a 100% record across the board.
