Jarell Quansah has paid an emotional tribute to Liverpool supporters after completing his move to Bayer Leverkusen.
The England Under-21s international has joined the Bundesliga outfit in a deal worth up to £35m.
Quansah has signed a five-year contract with Leverkusen though Liverpool have negotiated a buy-back clause - said to be worth around £51m - into the deal.
The centre-back, who joined the club’s Academy as a five-year-old, leaves the Reds as a Premier League champion and having made 58 appearance.
And while Quansah is looking forward to a new challenge in the Bundesliga, he paid tribute to his former Liverpool team-mates and coaches as well as the club’s fanbase as he hinted this is only ‘goodbye for now’.
