Jeremie Frimpong says Liverpool are getting a "really special" player in Florian Wirtz as the two former Bayer Leverkusen stars get set to reunite this pre-season at Anfield.
And Frimpong has talked up the ability of his team-mate as the duo get ready to report for duty with their new club next month.

Speaking to Kop TV, the 24-year-old said: "That's my boy, so for him, especially Flo coming to Liverpool, it is just like 'wow'.
Because this player is really special, really special and I am not just saying that because he is my friend.
"Everyone knows, look he is the record-breaking [transfer].
I just know what he can do at Liverpool, he can add to the team, you know.
So I am really excited.
"I can't wait for the atmosphere [at Anfield], I can't wait to wear the shirt and play my first match, it's a privilege.
You want to play for the top three [clubs] in the world, so for me to actually go from watching LFCTV every time, seeing that to actually me putting it on, is crazy man, I just can't wait for that.

"I've heard a lot about the atmosphere and people say you get goosebumps, so I'll have to see it as a Liverpool player, it is going to be different."
In a separate interview with JoelBeyaTV at the same Pathways event in Manchester, the Netherlands international revealed his talks with Arne Slot, adding: "Obviously he was giving me good feedback with the way they play, you know.
"Of course he told me about my qualities and the gaffer knows I can defend also.
