The Reds are certainly at the pinnacle of English football but being there is one thing, and staying there is a whole other kettle of fish.
They have done their chances no harm based on how well they have recruited this summer, although after spending £446m this summer, fans would expect nothing less.
They have strength in numbers too and Liverpool’s matchday squad is now one of the best in the division, with every player having their role to play.
However, despite being at the club for so little time, Jeremie Frimpong believes that one player in particular has already proven that he can add anything to the team in times of need.

Liverpool wanted a striker for a long time throughout the summer, but their search seemed fairly limited.
Alexander Isak was also the first choice, but when he seemed unattainable, the Reds made a swift move for Hugo Ekitike.
It was a risky option given his price tag and lack of experience, but it appears to have paid off as he has taken the league by storm, as well as being the one Liverpool signing to come in and really hit the ground running.

And, when asked to describe his teammates in one word, Frimpong hesitated when it came to Ekitike due to just how good he is, although he finally found an answer.
“He’s got a bit of everything,” Frimpong said in a TikTok video for TNTSports.
“Reliable,” is the word he settled for, which sums him up rather nicely.

So far, the Frenchman has scored two and assisted one in his opening three games for the Reds, with his link-up play also something that has stood out.
His work-rate is another trait that means he is well-liked at Anfield too, proving Frimpong very right.
Considering Frimpong has been there less than four months, it is clear how well he has settled in as he managed to hit the nail on the head when describing the rest of his teammates.
Andy Robertson was called a ‘joker’, Mohamed Salah a ‘finisher’ and Alexis Mac Allister a ‘technician’, all things Reds fans would agree with him on.
The Dutchman should also be almost ready to start firing again very soon, with the right-back missing out on international duty with the Netherlands due to injury.
Burnley on Sunday may come too soon, however, although with there being another five games in the month, he will be needed later down the line.
