Milos Kerkez is the subject of a major new update at Liverpool which caught the attention of teammate Jeremie Frimpong.
The Hungarian’s potential move to Anfield felt like one of the Premier League’s worst-kept secrets, before confirmation of the switch was announced at the end of June.
Kerkez was a part of the sensational Bournemouth side that rose as high as fifth in the table last term, before a late-season dip in form saw them ultimately finish ninth.

With Andy Robertson’s form failing him and Kostas Tsimikas lacking the required skillset to be a starting left-back for the Reds, Arne Slot’s side moved quickly for the ex-AC Milan defender.
Despite being just 21 years of age, Kerkez has two full seasons as a starter under his belt, and although his Scottish teammate will still likely be the first-choice for the time being, an update at Liverpool suggests it won’t be long until the Hungary international is put in charge of martialling the Premier League champion’s left-hand side.
Kerkez will begin his first season with Liverpool by wearing the number six shirt for his new side.

This will be his first time wearing the number, having adorned the number three at Bournemouth and five at AZ Alkmaar.

Kerkez took to Instagram to share the announcement on the same day that Liverpool unveiled their new Adidas-manufactured kits, in a post captioned with a six and an hourglass emoji.
The post was liked by fellow new signing Frimpong, who will wear number 30 having joined from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

For the best part of eight years, Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have made the decision of who will start at left and right-back for Liverpool very simple.
The duo are arguably the best pair of fullbacks to have graced the Premier League in the last decade, and they defined the way the Reds played.
However, with Robertson nearing the end of his time at Anfield, and Alexander-Arnold now a Galactico in Spain, Arne Slot must decide on who starts on either side of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid this summer.

On the left, it would be no surprise to see the former Hull City man be chosen initially, before Kerkez is given more opportunities down the line.
On the right, the situation is a little less clear.
Conor Bradley has been touted as Alexander-Arnold‘s successor for several years now, but his injury history and the arrival of Frimpong have made the decision much more difficult.
It would be no surprise to see the Dutchman be handed the reins, with the Northern Irishman rotating in as and when is necessary.
