Liverpool has announced the signing of Jeremie Frimpong, bolstering Arne Slot's options on the right flank following the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Frimpong, 24, signed for the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen for a modest $39.7 million on the same day that Real Madrid confirmed the capture of Alexander-Arnold.
Frimpong, versatile on the right flank at both right back and right wing, will bolster manager Arne Slot's defensive and offensive options next season.
He will look to help Liverpool defend its Premier League title and compete in other competitions, such as the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Super Cup, and the Community Shield.
