Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong has broken his silence on social media ahead of his impending move to Liverpool.
The Reds are on the verge of making their second signing ahead of the forthcoming transfer window, with goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili set to complete his move to Anfield.
The Dutchman played no part in Leverkusen's final Bundesliga match of the season as they settled for a 2-2 draw with FSV Mainz.
There were farewells last weekend for Xabi Alonso following the news that he will leave the club after a successful two-and-a-half years with Die Werkself.
Liverpool are closing in on a deal to sign the 24-year-old and will trigger his €35 million (£30m) release clause as they look to reinforce their full-back options ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold's exit with a five-year deal reportedly set to be signed.

Frimpong opted for a series of social media posts as Leverkusen also bid farewell to Jonathan Tah, with the defender leaving the club at the end of the season.
The versatile right-sided Holland international posted three wordless stories to his Instagram including a picture saluting the travelling supporters, an embrace with Alonso and Tah, and celebrating Leverkusen going the entire league campaign unbeaten away from home.
Arne Slot faced questions over the prospect of signing another Dutchman but, as he has throughout the season with their ongoing contract questions, he failed to be drawn on the matter.

"It's going to be a boring answer," said the Liverpool head coach.
"The whole season it was about the contract extensions of three players and now it's about which players we are going to bring in.
"The answer is the same.
We don't talk about players we want to bring in in public until the moment they sign.
"What I can tell you is we already have Conor Bradley who can play really good in that position, Joe Gomez has played there multiple times.
"It's not like Trent is leaving and I have no clue what to do anymore.
"But in general we are always looking at interesting players who can strengthen our squad."

With two Premier League games remaining, beginning with Monday's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool are already seeing their contingency plan for full-back come to fruition.
Conor Bradley signed a new four-year deal at Liverpool, which was confirmed on Saturday.
Reports suggest Frimpong is expected to complete a medical and will travel to the region in the coming days to finalise the move.
