Jeremie Frimpong has endeared himself to Liverpool supporters with a message to future Anfield team-mate Ryan Gravenberch.
Frimpong, 24, is set to join the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen when the summer transfer window opens on June 1.
Liverpool have informed the Bundesliga club that they're ready to pay the Dutch right-back's £29.5million release clause after agreeing terms on a five-year contract.
It's the latter who the Frimpong sent a message to on social media after the Liverpool midfielder was voted the Premier League's young player of the season.
Showing his support for Gravenberch, the 24-year-old joined Van Dijk and Gakpo in the comments by replying: "Ryan laaa," alongside a emojis of a red heart and a trophy.
Earlier this week, Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes strongly suggested that Frimpong, who they signed from Celtic in 2021, was Liverpool-bound.
