Reports surrounding Bayer Leverkusen full-back Jeremie Frimpong have ramped up following transfer links to Liverpool.
A lot of focus has been placed on Liverpool's summer recruitment with the Reds facing a desire to bolster the squad at the back and in forward areas, with Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa's futures on Merseyside uncertain.
The Holland full-back has faced increasingly scrutiny over his future at Bayer Leverkusen after enjoying success under Xabi Alonso, where they won the Bundesliga and German Cup last season.

In light of the bombshell decision which will see Alexander-Arnold leave Liverpool, the glare of the summer transfer splurge has been cast on the right side of the backline.

Reports suggest that talks are advancing with the move close to being completed.
The 24-year-old has three years remaining on his contract and is said to have a €40million release clause.
Their report adds that it is expected he will sign a five-year contract.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Frimpong is keen on signing for Liverpool.
The Holland international has already had a first taste of Anfield after the Reds' 4-0 win during the Champions League League Phase.
The reporter followed up a report, which emerged on Monday, and said the talks are advancing to make Frimpong one of Slot's first signings in his second season.
He addsa that Liverpool have approached the Bundesliga club to discuss structuring his €35million release clause, which contradicts reports of €40million.
Florian Plettenberg reported on Monday that the Reds were 'seriously pursuing' the former Manchester City and Celtic defender.
The Sky Sports Germany reporter added that Frimpong is one of the top options to replace Alexander-Arnold and the full-back is planning to move in the summer.
The release clause is mentioned between €35million and €40milllion.

The ECHO understands that if they pursue a new right-back, Frimpong would be a player of interest, particularly given his release clause of around £30m that can be triggered this summer.
With Conor Bradley remaining in the building at Anfield, the Northern Irishman will be given a chance to stake him claim.
Slot opted to deploy the defender over the departing Alexander-Arnold, before the England international replacement him in the latter stages.
