Chelsea players both past and present were among those to respond on social media after a new deal has been announced.
The summer transfer window was another busy period for Chelsea with multiple new signings and departures to reshape the squad.
Enzo Maresca was handed significant backing in the market as Chelsea signed the likes of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato and Alejandro Garnacho.
A consistent theme across recent windows has been Chelsea’s heavy investment in youth.
Whether bringing them into the first-team setup, developing them through the academy, or arranging loan spells.
That strategy has already paid off in the case of Estevao, who has impressed for Chelsea ever since returning from his loan spell at Palmeiras.
Now, a new deal has been confirmed regarding a youth player, which has earned plenty of attention.

Chelsea legend John Terry, who is currently a coaching consultant and mentor within the Chelsea academy, showed support by liking the post.
Other young players also shared a reaction, such as academy graduate Josh Acheampong and Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri, who both liked the post.
Over the past two seasons, Dyer has been a regular for Chelsea Under-21s, and earned the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award back in October 2024.
He made one appearance for the senior squad last term, playing four minutes in their Conference League tie vs Astana back in December, and now takes his talents to the Netherlands.

While a youngster commits to the future, Chelsea may be set to part ways with one of their senior players.
Football Insider revealed that Chelsea could “tear up” Raheem Sterling’s contract at Stamford Bridge to allow him to find a move on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old winger was linked with moves to Fulham and West Ham during the summer window, but his wages proved a stumbling block.
