Former Tottenham star, Rafael van der Vaart, has criticised Jordan Henderson's performance at Ajax, suggesting that his boyhood club has brought in players with "zero quality".
Ex-Liverpool captain Henderson, who lifted both the Premier League and Champions League trophies under Jurgen Klopp, recently moved to Amsterdam from Saudi Arabia but has not been able to help Ajax win any of his first four games for the club.
The 41-year-old told Dutch television: "Ajax have brought in players with zero quality.
In their last Europa Conference League match, Henderson's team narrowly avoided a 2-0 loss to Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt, thanks to two late goals in stoppage time.
The disappointment continued when Ajax played NEC Nijmegen at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Saturday.
