Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has delivered a heartfelt tribute to ex-teammate Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, following their tragic deaths in the early hours of Thursday.
Jota, 28, was discovered deceased alongside his brother after their vehicle crashed on the A-52 in Palacios de Sanabria near Zamora at around 12.40 am local time on Thursday.
Writing on Instagram, current Ajax player Henderson expressed: "I really can't believe what has happened today and all I can think about is Diogo and Andre's family.
I know how much Rute and your family meant to you and I know you will always be looking down on them.
"Thank you for everything you brought into this world, we will all miss you.
Rest in peace along with your brother Andre!

Manager Arne Slot conveyed a profound and moving message via the club, expressing his emotional homage to Jota
