Everton players joined in their reaction to the club announcing another fresh arrival ahead of the new Premier League season.
It has been a summer of major change for the Toffees, with new owners The Friedkin Group eager to make their mark and David Moyes overseeing his first transfer window since returning to the dugout.
The rebuild has already seen several experienced names depart, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ashley Young leaving Everton after the expiry of their contracts.
Their exits created space for new additions, with the Merseyside club moving quickly to strengthen the squad.
Jack Grealish has arrived on loan, while Thierno Barry and long-term target Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have also been brought in as Moyes looks to balance youth and experience.
Now, with Everton preparing to kick off their Premier League campaign against Leeds on 18 August, the club have confirmed yet another signing to bolster their options.

Among the many departures this summer were goalkeepers Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia, leaving the Toffees in need of reinforcements between the sticks.
Everton have now confirmed the signing of Tom King from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a two-year deal, with the goalkeeper joining ahead of the opening Premier League fixture against Leeds.

The announcement received a strong reaction online, with King’s former Wolves teammate Matheus Cunha showing his support alongside new teammates Jordan Pickford, Idrissa Gueye and James Tarkowski, who all liked the post.

King has made just one Premier League appearance, which was for Wolves in May against Brentford.
The 30-year-old has played for Millwall, Newport County, Salford City and Northampton Town, gradually working his way back to the top flight.
He becomes the club’s seventh signing of the summer, and following Mark Travers arriving at Everton from Bournemouth, King is expected to be the third-choice option.

With several fresh additions through the door, more departures are expected before the transfer window closes.
Football Insider have revealed that Beto is likely to leave Everton in the coming weeks as he does not appear to be part of Moyes’ long-term plans after a row in pre-season.
The Portuguese striker has struggled to make an impact during his time at the club and Leeds United are the latest club to register interest for Beto‘s signature.
Despite already adding Barry earlier in the summer, the Toffees are believed to be actively pursuing another striker to bolster their attacking options.
