Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen shared an update to supporters about his fitness as preparations continue for the clash with Leeds United.
The Norwegian’s future at Molineux was uncertain for much of the summer as Strand Larsen wanted to move to Newcastle United.
However, Football Insider revealed Wolves were not planning to sell Strand Larsen for any price due to the lack of time to find a replacement.
The Magpies had targeted the striker after the exits of Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson, but turned elsewhere and signed Nick Woltemade for a club-record fee whilst adding Yoane Wissa instead.
This week brought a major development for the Norway international as Strand Larsen signed a new deal at Wolves, securing his future.
Now, the striker had a positive update regarding his fitness to supporters.

Strand Larsen has been out of action since Wolves’ Carabao Cup clash against West Ham back in August after his cameo appearance, where he scored a brace.
However, he looks set for a return, as he posted on Instagram with a picture of himself involved in the latest session.
He captioned it simply: “Back training” with a sunglasses emoji, confirming he is back for selection.

Wolves had been working on a new deal with Strand Larsen for several weeks, standing firm in their refusal to cash in on him amid bids from Newcastle, with a deal now confirmed.
He was important to the side last term as he netted 14 Premier League goals while also providing four assists.
As Wolves sold Matheus Cunha earlier in the window, losing the 25-year-old may have been a detriment to their season.
It’s not been a strong start for Pereira’s side as they have lost all four games, but now, his return will be a big boost.

If results don’t improve for the club, the side face the real risk of being pulled into another relegation battle.
However, the hierarchy want to avoid that situation, and football finance expert Dan Plumley told Football Insider that Wolves will likely take risks in the January window and invest in their squad.
While the side signed the likes of Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias, the hierarchy would need to invest further to steer clear of danger and protect their Premier League status.
