Jose Mourinho is plotting a summer raid on Liverpool having targeted a move for Federico Chiesa.

The Reds have already been confirmed as Premier League champions, and with nothing else to play for, they can already get their planning underway for next season.

Arne Slot will be given money to add to the squad in the summer, while a couple of current Liverpool stars could be on their way out of Anfield.



It is suggested that Liverpool would demand around £8.5m for Chiesa, having signed him for £10.1m last summer from Juventus.

Since then, a combination of injuries and the form of other players have limited Chiesa’s contributions at Anfield.

Salah will also be away for the Africa Cup of Nations next season, so it makes sense for them to keep Chiesa at the club.”

Mourinho is of course managing the Turkish side, while Edin Dzeko, Allan Saint-Maximin, Dusan Tadic, Fred and Sofyan Amrabat are among the former Premier League stars turning out for the club.
