Josh Brownhill has rejected transfer interest from Premier League club Wolves as he continues to search for a new club.
After leaving Burnley, free agent Brownhill has attracted interest from Leicester City this summer, while the Foxes are vying for an immediate top-flight return.
Brownhill’s efforts helped his former club clinch promotion back to the Premier League, while Burnley were beaten 3-2 by Manchester United on Saturday, 30 August.

Vitor Pereira has received a welcome boost in the transfer market, as Strand Larsen performed well for the West Midlands club last season.

Having steered Wolves to three consecutive defeats in the Premier League, Pereira is under growing pressure at Molineux.

Therefore, the 57-year-old could have done with a successful transfer deadline day on 1 September.
Meanwhile, Brownhill’s career-best return of 18 goals and six assists for Burnley last season proves that he would have been ready to return to the Premier League and become an asset for Wolves.
But now that the 29-year-old has turned down their transfer advances, the Molineux club appear more unlikely to turn their poor form around in the top flight.
After suffering back-to-back defeats against Manchester City and Bournemouth, Pereira’s men found some respite when they beat West Ham 3-2 in the Carabao Cup.
However, a subsequently damaging loss to Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, 30 August, means that Wolves are the only top-flight team yet to earn a point this season.
Missing out on Brownhill, therefore, could prove costly for Pereira.
